It's Winston today

My special teacher friend Mrs. Carver came to see me, and it was great because she brought Jim, that other big guy who knows me (and who really knows his dogs, too).

Winston won the first day at the show over near Loveland, in a big new arena. It's the second-biggest arena I've shown in, with Kansas City probably being bigger. I was second, making me winner's dog. We'll go back and try again tomorrow.

Come see me

I'll be in the ring this weekend. Tomorrow, Saturday, at the Loveland Fairgrounds at I-25 and a couple miles north of US 34, in Ring 1 at around 8:20 a.m., and again same place on Sunday in Ring 7 around 9:45 a.m. Come say hi Westley!

Summer Camp

My fake cousin Amigo has come to stay for the summer while his mom gets better after recent surgery. He's been here for about 10 days so far, and he'll be visiting until fall. We get up every morning and go for a walk with my sisters Rosie and Ruth Ann, and then that big guy's been taking me and Amigo for a run. Then we go home and sleep all day. Summer time, and the living is easy.

Longmont

Here I am outside the ring in Longmont, Colo., yesterday. All us boys were shut out on Saturday, but I happened to get points today for somehow topping Vinny and Winston to claim the best of opposite sex ribbon -- some girl won both days. Not sure how it happened, but there you go. You never know. I spent the rest of the weekend wrestling with my fake cousin Amigo and chasing Auntie Patches around the yard.
